Mrs. Adriana - Director

My name is Adriana and I am the Director for Prodigy Learning Center.

I absolutely love working with children of all ages. My experience began when I started attending Mayville State University where I studied child development.

I’m married and have been blessed with two boys, whom I enjoy spending time with when I’m not in the classroom.

I look forward to being a part of the PLC team for many years to come.

Ms. Alicia - Assistant director

Hi! I’m Ms. Alicia and I am the Assistant Director at Prodigy Learning Center. I have been working with children of all ages for over ten years. I discovered my passion for teaching and caring for children when I was a teenager and have loved it ever since!

PLC has always felt like a second home to me and I am so grateful for the connections I’ve been able to make while being here.

I have two handsome boys who are my entire world, Josiah and Moses. On the weekends, I love spending time with my family and watching my boys play soccer!

I’m so excited for the future here at PLC!

Mrs. sHAQueTTA - Site Manager, PLC 1

Hello my name is Ms. ShaQuetta, I am Site Manager at PLC 1, I also go by Ms. Que for short.

I have always had an passion with working with children. I started my journey out in the Rainbow Room with the ages 18 to 24 months old. I’ve been in childcare for over 12 years working with all ages.

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my son and spouse, traveling, playing games, having family time, and crafting.


 

Mrs. LindseY - SIte Manager, PLC 2

I am the Site Manager at PLC 2 and I help children and teachers work together to create a healthy and happy learning environment. I have been working with children for 7 years and that’s what inspired me to get my associates degree in early childhood development education.  

I enjoy working on crafts and spending time with my husband Malcolm and our sweet baby girl Hazel.

I love the family-oriented environment at PLC, and getting to know the families and their sweet kiddos. 

My philosophy is “Children are trees nurture them and support them so we can watch them grow!”

 

Ms. DALShona - SUPervisor, PLC1

Hi, my name is Dalshona, I go by Ms. Shona for short. I am a supervisor here at Prodigy Learning Center. I have been blessed with two children, a handsome boy and beautiful girl whom I enjoy spending time with when I’m not in the classroom.

I have been working with children of all ages for about 9 years. I discovered my love for caring and teaching children at a young age and I just enjoyed it ever since!

I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to further my career with Prodigy Learning Center.

 

Ms. Samantha - Supervisor, plc2

Hi! My name is Ms. Samantha and I am the Supervisor at PLC2. I am from the Houston area but moved here with my now fiancee and our dog! We are expected to get married in November of 2024.

I have been in childcare since September of 2017 and at Prodigy since January 2022. I grew up babysitting family members which initially sparked my love for working with children.

I love working at PLC and seeing the love and passion on all of our teachers and students faces.

Hello! My name is Ms. Mari and I am a Supervisor here at PLC3.

I have six years of experience in early childcare education and I have loved every single minute of it.

Ms. Kristi - Supervisor, PLC 3

Hi! I’m Ms. Kristi and I am a Supervisor at PLC3 as well as PLC’s School Age Coordinator! I have always had a passion for teaching inspired by my own elementary teachers, and I love working with children. I have an Associates degree in Education from Texas A&M University and am certified for PreK-6 and ESL.

I taught in public school for three years and then transitioned to homeschooling my own children for the past 7 years. They are my entire world! In our free time, we like to spend time outside, playing games, visiting friends, or reading. We are looking forward to our new opportunity with the PLC family!

Ms. Allie - PLC SUPervisor

Hi! My name is Ms. Allie and I am a supervisor at PLC!

I’ve always enjoyed working with and being around children. I discovered my love for caring for children when I was young due to having a large family.

I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology and Child Development from Sam Houston State University. Soon after, I began my career in teaching and caring for children.

PLC has been nothing short of awesome and I’m so happy and grateful that my daughter and I get to be here.

Mrs. Crystal - Teacher, 6 Weeks - 6 Month olds

Hello! My name is Ms. Crystal and I am a lead teacher in the Clubhouse classroom. I enjoy being an infant teacher because it’s so fun to watch them grow throughout the years.

Each year working for Prodigy Learning Center has expanded my skill set as it relates to working with children. I learn something new everyday. My most important focus has been to listen to parents and children with the ability to understand their needs and not just to hear them. This has allowed me to develop a trusting bond with parents who now feel comfortable with the way I teach and support their childen.

I have been with PLC for 5 years now, but have been in childcare for over 17 years now working with children of all ages. I realized at an early age my passion and love for children.

Ms. Alexandria - Teacher, 6 Weeks - 6 Month olds

Hello! I’m Ms. Alex and I am a teacher in the Clubhouse classroom!

Working in the Clubhouse classroom is such a fun experience. I love learning each baby and their cues! I love seeing their smiling faces every morning.

I have been working in childcare since 2016 right after I graduated high school. I love working with children of all ages! My students bring so much joy to my days.

Since working at PLC, I have gained lifelong friends and have made great friendships with different families.

Hello, my name is Ms. Samantha and I am the lead teacher in the Forest classroom. I have one daughter that keeps me busy with dance on our free time.

Prior to working here, I wokred at a different daycare for two years. THis is what sparked my love for working with kids.

I love being a part of close knit community that equally shares my love for kids.

Hi! I’m Ms. Desiree, an infant teacher in the Forest classroom.

I have been in childcare for almost four years and I absolutely love it. Working with infants is something I am very passionate about.

I love working at Prodigy Learning Center. The staff have made me feel very welcome and at home.

MS. Wendy - TEACHER, 6-12 Month olds

Hola! My name is Wendy and I am a teacher in the Garden Classroom. I was born and raised in Bryan, Texas. I have a beautiful step-daughter that I spend most of my time with when I’m not at work.

I have a lot of experience in caring for and nurturing children. I love teaching and seeing my students learn and grow. I enjoy working for Prodigy Learning Center because I learn something new everyday.

It is so fulfilling knowing that I’m making a difference in my students lives.

 

Ms. Tamara - Teacher, 6-12 Month olds

Hello! My name is Ms. Tamara and I am an infant teacher at Prodigy Learning Center.

I started my career in a childcare setting right out of high school. I have worked with many ages over the years and found a love for infants!

The team at PLC is very welcoming and has made the facility feel like home!

Howdy! I’m Ms. Miesha and I am a teacher in the Caterpillar classroom at PLC1.

I attended school in Navasota and graduated in 2003. I soon after found my passion for working with infants and children!

I have enjoyed my time with Prodigy Learning Center! The staff is awesome and amazing. The greatest part is that everyone loves working together as a team to ensure the well-being of all students and staff.

I recently graduated high school and plan to continue my education in hopes of a career as a teacher.

Ms. jAdAISY - Teacher, 12-18 Month olds

Hello! My name is Ms. JaDaisy and I am one of PLC’s toddler teachers! I have been teaching for the last six years. I have taught all ages and have learned so much over the last few years.

When I’m not in the classroom, I love painting, reading, and hanging out with my best friends.

I’m currently attending Blinn College as an education major. I hope to one day become a high-school history teacher.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to further my career in child education with the Prodigy team.

Hola! My name is Ms. Edith and I am a lead teacher in the Red Fish classroom. I am originally from California, but moved to Texas in 2010. I attended Bryan Collegiate High School where I had the opportunity to volunteer with Pre-K students. By doing so, it really sparked a joy in me for assisting and educating young minds!

Working at PLC has given me insight into the care and time that is put into the curriculum. I love that the PLC team is always willing to take time out of their day to spend time with us in the classroom.

Hi! I’m Ms. Amanda and I am a lead teacher in the Baby Shark classroom.

I have been in childcare for a couple of years now. I have always enjoyed working with and being around children. Watching them learn and grow is a very rewarding thing to experience.

I love being a part of PLC as it is filled with such a loving and caring staff!

Hi! My name is Ms. Pristina and I am a co-teacher in the Baby Shark classroom. Ever since childhood, I have loved children! I knew when I became a mother to my daughter that I really found my place in this world; children are my passion.

I recall the many lessons I taught my nieces and nephews at such a young age. I’m a Bryan/College Station native and completed all of my schooling locally! I’m excited to continue to grow in my profession as an early childhood educator.

I find it exciting to teach the young toddlers at Prodigy Learning Center. It doesn’t feel like a “job” and I look forward to seeing all of my children every day.

Hello! My name is Ms. Bethany and I am a co-teacher in the Zoo classroom.

I recently graduated high school and plan to start college in the fall! I’m very excited to further my education.

I love Prodigy and all of the children I get to care for everyday. I’ve had a good experience with my team and look forward to continuing!

Ms. STACI - Teacher, 2 Year olds

Hi! My name is Ms. Staci and I am the lead teacher in the Flamingo classroom. I have two boys of my own, ages 5 and 1. Everyday I like to think of fun and creative ways for the kids to learn. It brings a smile to my face when I see my students take what we learn together and put it to use.

Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to become a teacher. I enjoy seeing all of their personalities and being able to work with the children warms my heart.

I love being a part of the PLC team. I really enjoy teaching the children and watching them grow.

Hola! My name is Ms. Montse and I am a lead teacher in a three-year-old classroom! I am a future elementary teacher in the making. I am currently attending school and will be transferring to A&M next year.

I have experience as a teacher’s aide, camp counselor, and an elementary school tutor. I love helping and educating children. My favorite thing about early childhood education is instilling a love for learning in them all!

Ms. Jaevera - Teacher, 3 Year olds

Hello! My name is Ms. Jaevera and I am a lead three-year-old teacher at PLC3. I am looking forward to growing, laughing, and learning with your precious little humans.

I started teaching children over five years ago. Ever since then, teaching has been my passion! I would love to further my career and become a child counselor to further understand the minds of children and what it is they are needing to successfully grow. I absolutely love being a part of children’s growth, being with them daily, and sharing so many sweet moments with them. I am excited to love and grow with your little one.

Hello! My name is Ms. Brittany and I am a lead three’s teacher at PLC3. I am very excited to learn and grow with our PLC students!

My love for teaching started when I taught Sunday school as a teenager. I have been working in a childcare setting for a couple of years now!

My favorite part about working at Prodigy is the relationships I have created with both my students and coworkers.

 

Ms. Shannon - Teacher, 3 Year Olds

Hi! My name is Ms. Shannon and I am a teacher in a three-year-old classroom. 

I've been working with children for over 10 years. I've been a preschool and Montessori teacher, a special education paraprofessional for elementary school, and a children's summer camp counselor. I also have two little ones of my own- a toddler and a 4 (and a half!) year old. 

After spending the past 5 years as a nanny I am SO excited to be a preschool teacher again. I've missed the structures and routines of a classroom setting as well as the opportunity to collaborate with other kind and creative educators.

Hola! My name is Ms. Briana and I am a lead teacher for one of PLC’s Pre-K classrooms. I am originally from California. I am a Blinn student working on my Psychology degree. My ultimate goal is to become a CPS worker. I am so excited to see what College Station has in store for me.

I have worked at PLC for over a year now and the and I am extremely grateful for the bond I have created with my students and families. I love them so much and they are the reason that I enjoy coming to work everyday!

Over the years, I have gained many learning opportunities throughout my career in childcare. I was president of peer assistance leadership skills in high school and have experience teaching ages 2-5 years old!

Hi! I am the lead teacher for the Transitional Kindergarten class!

I began my career in early childhood education here at PLC. But I believe my favorite thing is seeing my kids’ smiling faces when I come in. Math is my favorite subject to teach and I love helping my kids understand things like simple addition.

It’s very rewarding to watch the kids in my class get ready to began their new adventure in kindergarten. I look forward to seeing your children grow and become the best version of themselves.

I have been teaching since 2019 and I am currently studying to be an English teacher in South Korea! I am so excited to be part of all the amazing childrens’ lives.

Ms. Alex - Teacher, Transitional Kindergarten

Hello! I’m Ms. Alex and I am a lead TK teacher!

At a young age, my goals were to either be a teacher or a veterinarian. I’m proud to say that I have reached one of my goals! I have always loved caring for and being around children. I am currently in school for Early Childhood Development to further my career in education.

I love being on the PLC team! Being able to teach my students and knowing that I’m a part of helping them learn really warms my heart.

Ms. Anna - Teacher, tRANSITIONAL kINDERGARTEN

Howdy! My name is Anna-Leigh and I am a co-teacher in one of PLC’s TK classrooms! It has been such a wonderful experience to watch my students faces light up when they write their first note, make their first puppet show together, and watching them engage during story time. These memories are the best part of my day!

I have been a preschool teacher at various schools in College Station and working with the wonderful kiddos of Prodigy has been a wonderful experience. I am currently working on obtaining my degree in education.

Each and every child is unique, amazing, and full of potential! At PLC, that is beautifully showcased. I love being able to teach my students, especially through arts and crafts!

Mr. Will - School Age Counselor

Howdy! I’m Mr. Will and I am a School Age Counselor at PLC3. I’m from Huntsville, TX and currently a junior at Texas A&M. I transferred from Sam Houston as a history major! My favorite sports teams are the Bills, Rays, and Bucks.

I have worked in childcare the last three years. In 2021, I worked as a camp counselor at Carolina Creek. In 2022 and 2023 I worked as a summer day camp director. I am lifeguard certified and have several certifications in AgriLife.

I’m ready to hit the ground running!

 

Ms. millie - School Age Counselor

Howdy! I’m Ms. Millie, a school age counselor at PLC3!

My passion for working with children began when I started volunteering for the 4-H program which is program that allows special needs children the opportunity to raise and show cattle.

I love animals and have obtained my vet assistant certification. I have hopes of pursuing my education and one day becoming a veterinarian or an agriculture teacher.

Outside of PLC, I love to spend my time doing anything outdoors- working cattle, hunting, fishing, or just hanging out with my friends and family!

MS. Dayanna - PLC1 Floater

Hello! My name is Ms. Dayanna and I am a floater at PLC1. I am currently a student at Texas A&M aiming for a Spanish degree with a double minor in Comparative Cultural Studies and Secondary Education.

I have been in childcare for about three years now and have experience with almost every age, with the exception of high schoolers. My favorite age group to work with is middle schoolers.

I enjoy working here at PLC. Everyone welcomes you with open arms. The best part of being at PLC is seeing all of the children smile and laugh throughout their day!

My teaching philosophy of teaching is to create an environment that allows for supervised exploration.

Hola! My name is Ms. Mayra and I am a floater at PLC.

I graduated as an elementary school teacher in Mexico. I love working with children and have worked with children from the ages of 6 months - 12 years old. I can definitely say that it is my passion.

It is very gratifying to be able to teach and work with children of different ages. It makes my heart so happy to see how PLC continues to grow and grow.

Ms. Payton - PLC3 Floater

Hello! I’m Ms. Payton and I am a floater at PLC3. I am so excited for the opportunity to get to know you and your child! When I’m not at PLC, you can find me as a zoo keeper at Aggieland Safari!

My love of childcare started with nannying for family friends, but I have worked in a childcare setting since 2022. I am an Animal Science major at Texas A&M University! My two favorite things are working with children and animals.

Prodigy has been a wonderful place for me to further my career in childcare! Everyone here feels like family.
